Cookie Policy

Exactly what World Private Chefs stores on your device, and which other companies this site loads. It is a short list, and we would rather it stayed that way.

Last updated: 17 August 2026

The short version

We set no cookies of our own, and there is no analytics, advertising or tracking running on this site today. The one thing we store on your device is your progress through the enquiry form, so a reload does not lose your answers.

What follows is mostly about other people's cookies: the map and the reviews panel are loaded from Google and HighLevel, and those companies may set their own.

What we store ourselves

One item, and it is not a cookie. Local storage is a place a website can keep information inside your own browser; unlike a cookie, it is never attached to requests and never sent anywhere.

NameWhat it is forWhen it goes away
wpc_wizard_progressRemembers how far you got in the enquiry form, and what you had filled in.As soon as you send the enquiry, or whenever you clear your browser's site data.
wpc_consentRemembers whether you agreed to analytics, so we do not ask again on every page. It stores one word, yes or no, and nothing about you. When you change your answer below, or whenever you clear your browser's site data.

Because it only remembers what you yourself typed, and the site would be worse without it, it counts as strictly necessary and does not require your consent. It contains no identifier and cannot be used to recognise you anywhere else.

Your choice about analytics

The first time you arrive we ask whether we may measure your visit. Until you say yes, Google Analytics runs with storage switched off: it cannot write a cookie and cannot recognise you on a later visit.

You have not answered yet.

You can change this whenever you like, and the change takes effect immediately.

What other companies load

These are loaded because the page needs them to look and work as it does. The ones marked optional can be blocked without breaking anything except the feature itself.

ServiceLoaded fromWhat it doesNeeded?
Google Analyticsgoogletagmanager.comCounts visits and which pages get read, so we know what is worth writing more of. It runs with storage consent denied, which means it sets no cookies and cannot recognise you on a later visit — it receives your IP address and reports an anonymous, aggregated visit.Optional
Google Mapsgoogle.comDisplays the service-area map on each destination page. Google may set its own cookies and receives your IP address when the map loads.Optional
HighLevel review widgetreputationhub.siteShows our Google reviews. It is loaded only once you scroll far enough to reach it, and may set cookies of its own.Optional
HighLevel media CDNassets.cdn.filesafe.spaceServes the photographs. It sets no cookies, but the host receives your IP address when an image loads.Needed
WhatsAppwa.meOpens only when you press a WhatsApp button. From that point your conversation is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.Optional

We do not control what these companies store or for how long. Their own policies govern that, and the links in their names on their sites will tell you more than we can.

What is not on this site

Worth saying plainly, because most sites do have these:

  • No analytics. We do not currently measure visits, sessions or where you came from.
  • No advertising or remarketing pixels. Nothing here builds a profile of you for ads.
  • No social media tracking. The Instagram links are ordinary links; nothing from Instagram is embedded in the page.
  • No accounts, no logins, no session cookies.
We do intend to add website analytics once the site moves to its final domain. Before we switch anything on, this page will be updated to name the tool and say what it stores, and you will be asked for your consent first.

How to control all of this

  • Clear what we store. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes the saved form progress. Sending the enquiry clears it too.
  • Block third-party cookies. Every major browser can do this from its privacy settings. The map may then refuse to load, which is the trade-off.
  • Browse privately. A private or incognito window discards everything, ours included, when you close it.

If something on this page does not match what you actually see in your browser, we would genuinely like to know: write to info@worldprivatechefs.com.
